Reviews

'The fresh-faced foursome are one of those unremitting joys that cause you to stop, beam, and think, "Yikes! They make me feel as happy as a big in a Porsche!" The guitars opt for the thoroughly tangled angle, all dissonance and sonic dramatics, the rhythms are run ragged, but rarely a pathetic shambles; the vocals are straight from the boy-meets-girl-and-pukes-on-her-after-too-many-Premiers school of indie pop; and current single "My Favourite Animal is The White Tiger" is basically the raucous sound of Urusei Yatsura playing swingball with Prolapse. And winning. Twinkie? Little stars, frankly.' NME

'They have tinges of everything COOL! from Prolapse, Make Up, etc, etc. while still retaining their own unique sound and they look so great on stage.' Bulbous Fanzine

'"My Favourite Animal is the Whyte Tyga" reminds me a bit of Prolapse but without the vocal aggression or Scottish accents and is very good indeed. "Social Faux Pas" is short and a kind of punk/rock and roll cross with more of Debbie's backing vocals adding an almost Adventures in Stereo sheen over the top. Quite a fascinating combination. Check them out.' D and Friends Fanzine

'Debut 7" featuring the Snakebite City 7 track "Social Faux Pas" plus three, pick of which is the rampant "My Favourite Animal is the Whyte Tyga" which comes on like a six string fizz bomb in a bath of elephant saliva! Robots and Electronic Brains Fanzine
