The Aislers SetLead by multi-instrumentalist pop mastermind Amy Linton (ex-Henry’s Dress), The Aislers Set are a veritable San Francisco indie supergroup featuring guitarist Wyatt Cusick (Trackstar), bassist Alicia Vanden Heuval (Poundsign), organist Jen Cohen (The Fairways), and drummer Yoshi Nakamoto (Scenic Vermont). Their debut album ‘Terrible Things Happen’ was released in 1998, but it was 2000’s ‘The Last Match’ which really brought them to the attention of the world at large, earning them a place in Spin.com’s top 20 albums of the year, numerous plays on John Peel’s BBC Radio show, and glowing reviews in the NME, Mojo, The Times and The Guardian.
